Now fast forward to that weekend you were sitting at the computer and you found a story about a home invasion in Ecuador, and another story about a bus being robbed on the way to the Guayaquil airport. No one is dead, a couple of people are hurt, and a few men got knocked around a bit. but for now, all I can tell you is And a quick answer to those other questions….
We have been here for about a week, and we like it a little more every day….
I almost forgot, just across the street is a pretty big Mercado. I had just met this person an hour ago and for the last 45 minutes she had been nonstop talking about her three dogs.
There is also a gym, a party room, and a nice big movie room.
The grounds are nicely landscaped and there is a lot of grass.
When I was still in California, someone told me to be extra careful when visiting Ecuador beaches.
If you are not living in Ecuador yet, do me a favor. Someone else told me to always carry my wallet in my front pocket, no matter where I was. He had heard that there were fleas that would get under your skin and start eating away at your flesh. I was expecting to see a bunch of one legged surfers when we were in Montanita….The former Inca town of Cuenca (situated at about 2500 metres in the southern part of the Andes) was conquered by the Spanish in 1533 and founded in 1557.With a population of about 350 000 people it is Ecuador’s third largest city.I was in my mid 20’s and we had just finished playing tennis in Scottsdale.
